Process Overview

In this process, the steps an agent must follow when handling a voluntary cancellation by the customer are described.

  1. The agent checks if the cancellation is possible in the reservation system. If this is not possible, the trip must be canceled directly with the tour operator.

  2. After the cancellation, the status must be updated in Midoco.

  3. The customer first receives a cancellation confirmation from us and subsequently an original cancellation confirmation from the tour operator via email.

  4. Any potential refund will be automatically processed by the tour operator.
