In this process, the steps an agent must follow when handling a voluntary cancellation by the customer are described.
- The agent checks if the cancellation is possible in the reservation system. If this is not possible, the trip must be canceled directly with the tour operator.
- After the cancellation, the status must be updated in Midoco.
- The customer first receives a cancellation confirmation from us and subsequently an original cancellation confirmation from the tour operator via email.
- Any potential refund will be automatically processed by the tour operator.
